Having begun cooking in pro-kitchens at the age of 14, Royal brings his expertise as a culinary professional to Savoury Eats. With southern roots from Atlanta Georgia, Royal is a classically trained chef that has worked alongside Master Chefs, James Beard Winners, and Michelin Star Chefs to provide the ultimate fine dining experience. Having lived in a few states throughout the Country has allowed him the opportunity to work with Master Chefs, James Beard award-winning Chefs, award-winning food, stylist, and some Celebrity Chefs at times.

He always knew that he wanted to be a Chef because he was drawn to the fire, and as a kid, who doesn't love to eat? The two went hand in hand perfectly and Royal felt like he was destined.  At the young age of 17, he attended Culinary School, and slowly worked his way up the ranks through ventures in Fine Dining, Private Country Clubs, Corporate Dining and Catering, Traveling Chef Trainer, and Private Medical facilities recently.

After opening and operating a food truck for Bon Appetit Management Company (BAMCO) in Seattle, and gaining great press and exposure, Royal decided to open one when he moved to the Fort Lauderdale area. He opened Savoury Eats Food Truck in 2016 because of the freedom to be spontaneous and adventurous with the menu, the awesome guest interactions, and the ability to provide a mobile kitchen at any location visited.
